The TAC serves the Permittees in a program advisory role, providing policy direction for the Orange County Stormwater Program development, budget, and implementation.
Formation
Per the Stormwater Permit Implementation Agreementpicture_as_pdf , By-Lawspicture_as_pdf were created to define TAC membership and authority. The TAC is governed by these By-Laws.
Role
The TAC reviews and recommends the Orange County Stormwater Program Shared Costs Budget for Permittee approval, consulting with the City Managers through the Orange County City Managers Association Water Quality Committee. The TAC also reviews key regulatory documents and compliance strategies of the Orange County Stormwater Program. The figure below shows how the TAC fits into the Orange County Stormwater Program organizational structure.
Members
The TAC consists of six members: five members each representing a supervisorial district and nominated by the City Engineers Association of Orange County, and a sixth member representing the County of Orange. An alternate representative is designated by each Committee member. Each TAC meeting agenda includes a list of the current members and alternates.
